Dr. Balaji Sethuramasamyraja serves as the Graduate Coordinator for the MSIT program. He is the champion of the development of a world class agricultural information systems academic program. He teaches in the areas of design and documentation, applied spatial technology and precision agriculture. His research interests include precision agriculture and geospatial technologies – including, development of sensors, instrumentation and control systems, application of GPS, GIS & remote sensing, agricultural information systems, and autonomous navigation of mobile robots for farm automation. Dr. Seth was the nominee for the Provost's Award of Promising New faculty in 2007.
