Graduate Student Appreciation Day
Graduate student appreciation day is finalized to be held on May 2nd between 4 –
6 PM right after the graduate student advising session on the same day between 2
– 4 PM. BS IT & other undergraduate students with interest in MS IT program are
also welcome to attend. We have reserved two lanes in the University Student
Union bowling lanes between 4 – 6 PM (including shoe rental). There is a maximum
limit of 20 people in a lane at a given time. So, we can accommodate 40 players
in two lanes for the reserved two hours. The rest can hang around in the union.

Dr. and Mrs. Bliss Scholarships
The college recently received a $400,000 bequest to establish the William H. Bliss and Dorothy D. Bliss Scholarships. These scholarships will support students in the Industrial Technology department. Dr. Bliss was an emeritus faculty member in IT.
We expect the amount will be $10,000 next year. The department is in the process of setting up criteria for these scholarships. There are two $350 scholarships from the fund this semester. If you are interested please apply it on line at
